I went out to the fair
saw her standing there, but she wouldnt care
I tried to make her believe
but she wouldnt dare, let me see her there

theres no denial
that in a while
i'd have taken her home
but she's rather be all alone

while she listened to her

radio

caught her eye at the door
they danced to the floor, they wanted more
i saw that she believed
in fairy tales with happy endings

theres no denial
that in a while
we would go home
that she rather be not alone

listening to my

radio

Watercolor Princess

I saw you sitting there all alone
wearing a white frock talking on the telephone
With pretty anklets dancing on your little feet
and the drizzle making a witty beat
watercolor skies they melt into your smile
dark green willows sprout along the while
watercolor skies they melt into your smile
dark green willows sprout along the while

so i came to your and
you did shine
i used my flute as it were a banjo
a song broke out as i let it go
so i came to your and
you did shine
i used my flute and you danced around o
a song broke out as i let it go
and then the wind blew us a trail
right along the ancient rail
i took your words and put them in a sack
as we walked along the lonely track
watercolor skies they melt into your smile
dark green willows sprout along the while
watercolor skies they melt into your smile
dark green willows sprout along the while
so i came to your and
you did shine
i used my flute as it were a banjo
a song broke out as we let it go
so i came to your and
you did shine
i used my flute and we danced around o
a song broke out as we let it go

Ni Song (Ft. Red Indian in a Hat)

you,
are a sunday afternoon.
blue,
is the color of your rune

on old days,
of shades grey,
with green doors,
on snowed floors

See,
think you must be a spell,
Me,
with that you are my well

on old days,
of shades grey,
with green doors,
on snowed floors

Away

She looked to the sky
found out she could fly

followed gusts of desert wind
found a dream to hide within

she met memories of kids at play
wishes of parents in months of may
many times she turned around to spy the day
she flew away

oh willow skies
flying mellow pies
blue feathered eyes

she made postcards of shells that walked the sea
tended to young silhouettes of thought that hung on trees
she made friends with shells that walked the sea
talked to silhouettes of  trees

oh willow skies
flying mellow pies
blue feathered eyes

Where's my dog?

A long time ago I had a dog that was all mine.
I feel happy when I remember him.
Oange yellow days.

Sailed Away!

This was the first song I'd ever written.
"ever"
I remember people, taken by surprise.
This song is *all* about *me*.
